Most Successful Teams and Drivers at the Austrian Grand Prix

The Austrian Grand Prix has taken place on four different tracks in four different eras in Formula 1. All have taken place in the beautiful Styrian mountains and all the circuits used provided unique challenges for drivers.

The Austrian GP has had a slew of different winners throughout its history with only a handful of drivers winning more than once. Currently, the Austrian GP takes place at the Red Bull Ring and is scheduled for the weekend of July 8^th to the 10^th in 2022.

Only two drivers have been able to claim three wins in Austria and there is no surprise Alain Prost is one of them. Max Verstappen joins the legend on the list and has ample time left in his career to overtake the Frenchman.

McLaren has been the most successful at the GP, but make no mistake Mercedes and Ferrari are not far behind, ready to join Mclaren on top of the list with six wins.   In 2022 with new regulations drastically changing F1 cars, predicting a winner at the Austrian GP is extremely difficult and brings back the unpredictability of yesteryear. One thing is certain the race will provide plenty of action with drivers vying for the top prize.
