Most Successful Teams and Drivers at Imola/Emilia Romagna Grand Prix in Italy
The Emilia Romagna Grand Prix formerly known as the San Marino Grand Prix returned to Formula 1 in 2020. The Autodromo Internazionale Dino e Enzo Ferrari which is found in Imola is considered the home of Ferrari. The circuit entered F1 in 1980 replacing Monza while it underwent renovations and in 1981 the San Marino GP was born.
This GP has hosted many great battles throughout its history and sadly has also taken some lives too along the way. In races where having pole position cannot guarantee victory drivers know they must do all they can to reach the finish line.
Many drivers have raced there but only a few can claim to have won. Here are the stats of the drivers and teams who were the most successful in Imola.

It comes to no surprise that Michael Schumacher is on top of the list with seven wins, not listed are an additional five second-place finishes giving him an incredible twelve podiums at the circuit. Ferrari fans were spoiled by the German legend allowing the team to head the list with the most wins for constructors alongside Williams with eight wins.
It is unlikely any driver will be able to catch Schumacher unless the Emilia Romagna GP becomes a steady member of the Formula 1 Schedule.
The race is scheduled to take place in 2022 but nothing is ever certain because the status of the GP is always considered provisional. The 2022 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix will take place from the weekend of the 22nd to the 24th of April.
