The Australian Grand Prix has split its time in Formula 1 between two tracks throughout its history starting in 1985. In its inception at Adelaide Park (1985-1996) and currently at Albert Park in Melbourne. Both tracks have had incredible performances in their history with an impressive list of winners.

During its tenure in Adelaide, the Grand Prix was placed last on the schedule making it one of the tracks to determine many championships. Melbourne on the other hand would debut the formula 1 season and prove the initial benchmark race seeing which drivers and teams did their homework in the offseason.

The Australian Grand Prix will always hold a special place in Formula 1 lore and history. We all look forward to its return to the schedule in 2022 after the race was put on hold for two seasons due to Covid-19 Pandemic.
