Most Successful Teams and Drivers at the Bahrain Grand Prix
The Bahrain International Circuit has been home to the Bahrain Grand Prix in Formula 1 since 2004. The legend himself Michael Schumacher and Ferrari won the inaugural race of this GP and now have Turn one named after the German.
Winning in Bahrain isn’t always easy and only four drivers have been able to win more than once at the circuit. Drivers had to contend with the heavy heat of the desert before the race became F1’s second night race on the schedule.

Ferrari and Mercedes have won the most races in Bahrain with both teams dominating different halves of the decade. Lewis Hamilton is on a three-race win streak but at this point, his career is still up in the air if he will return to F1 in 2022. At the moment only Sebastien Vettel has a shot at five wins in Bahrain to tie his British rival.
The Bahrain GP will open up the 2022 season on the weekend starting March 18th to March 20th. Opening races are always hard to predict but one thing is certain all Formula 1 fans have this date circled on their calendars.
