The Azerbaijan Grand Prix that takes place on the Baku City Circuit is one of the most difficult and longest temporary street circuits in Formula 1 history. Since its maiden race in 2016 at the European Grand Prix no driver has won two races at this difficult circuit.
In a race where yellow flags, safety cars, and red flags are bound to happen, choosing a winner is never a sure thing. After looking at the stats of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix Mercedes has been the most successful with three wins with three different drivers. Can George Russell become the fourth for Mercedes in 2022 or will Lewis Hamilton become the first driver to have won twice in Baku?
