F1 CEO Chase Carey announced on June 2nd that the new revised calendar will start July 3 2020 in Austria"Is the new calendar out?
On June 2nd the first 8 race dates (July 3 - Sep 4) were announced. F1, the FIA, and the race promoters are working on ways of slotting in postponed races later in the year. F1 announced the new schedule will look something like this:- July-August: Europe (Austria would be first race)
- September-October: Eurasia & Asia
- October-November: Asia & Americas
- December: Middle East
Will more races be postponed or cancelled?
This is dependent on the local Coranavirus situation in each city. This page will be updated as announcements are made.Will any races be held "behind closed doors" / without fans present?
Yes. The British Grand Prix is the first to announce it will be held without fans in attendance. F1 CEO Chase Carey stated "We expect the early races to be without fans but hope fans will be part of our events as we move further into the schedule."I bought tickets for a cancelled or postponed race -- what do I do?
- CANCELLED RACES: Contact your ticket vendor / point of purchase for instructions on refunds or transfer to the 2021 season
- POSTPONED RACES: Tickets remain valid for the new race date. Once the new date is announced, contact your ticket vendor / point of purchase for instructions.
- NOT CANCELLED / NOT POSTPONED: tickets remain valid until further notice.
